Never before has it been possible to observe three-dimensional objects with a stereomicroscope at such a high resolution until now, with the new Leica MZ16 and MZ16A stereomicroscopes from Leica Microsystems. Features of these new stereomicroscopes include resolution at 840 Lp/mm, highest magnification at 230x, motor zoom, automatic functions (measuring) and digital display. For the first time, a stereomicroscope allows observation of structures measuring only 0.6 micron. Objects in a magnification range from 7.1x up to 230x with a resolution of up to 840 Lp/mm can be scanned with objective nosepiece in the shortest amount of time.
